COSTS
A full-page advertisement costs £1,816 and a half page £908, excluding VAT.
Pre-paid classified advertising costs £5.25 for the minimum 1-15 words, with each additional word costing 35p.
Births, marriages, deaths, in memory, thanks, engagement notices, etc, 1-15 words minimum charge £5.25, each additional word 35p.
These prices include VAT.
Prices apply only when payment is made before publication.
Box numbers cost £4.80, including VAT.

DEADLINES
Deadlines for the receipt of advertisements at head office, in Newport, are:
Mondays: Run of paper displays, Village Talk notices.
Tuesdays - noon: Classified Property For Sale, Exchange Property, Overseas Property, Commercial Property, Property To Let and Wanted, Land.
Tuesdays - 4 pm: Meetings and Entertainments
Wednesdays - noon: All other classified advertisements, official notices, births, deaths, etc. Advertisements received after the above times will be held over until the following week unless we are otherwise instructed.
ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS TO THE COUNTY PRESS
The
County Press has produced specifications for contributors submitting files in electronic format for inclusion in the newspaper, eg advertisements, artwork, etc.
