BRASS BAND AT CHURCH

THE Cowes Concert Band, which claims to be the Island’s oldest established brass band, having been founded in the late 1800s, is to give a concert on Monday at St John’s Church, Sandown.
Admission is free with a retiring collection in aid of church and band funds.
