CHOIR TUNES UP FOR IW VISIT

MUCH Wenlock Male Voice Choir is set to be in harmony with Newchurch songsters and charity tomorrow (Saturday).
The Derbyshire singers, who have generated more than £15,000 from their extensive tours, join with Newchurch Male Voice Choir for a concert at St Catherine’s Church, Ventnor, which starts at 7pm.
A retiring collection will be made for the church and charity after the performance, which features numbers including Delilah and a Perry Como medley. Newchurch will perform, amongst other favourites, Nothin’ Like A Dame, Yellow Bird and I Believe.
The 40-strong choir was coming to the Island today (Friday) and is also performing at Arreton Barns on Sunday at noon.
