MUSIC
JAZZ returns to historic Appuldurcombe House this summer.
After a gap of five years, Wightlink again sponsors Midsummer Jazz on Saturday, August 23.

It comes a month after the National Trust holds its last fundraising Mottistone Jazz a month before after 21 years of staging that event.
Jazz veteran Aker Bilk and his Paramount Jazz Band headline Appuldurcombe, supported by the Castle Jazz band.
The August 23 concert is set in the grounds of the house where many famous jazz names have previously played. They include Kenny Ball, Laurie Chescoe, George Melly and Humphrey Lyttl-eton.
Tickets are available on the 840188 hotline and details are at www.midsummerjazz.co.uk
