CAR FERRY SERVICE HIT

TECHNICAL problems with Red Funnel ferry Red Osprey have led to several crossings being cancelled today (Friday).
Sailings from Southampton at 4pm and 7pm will not run, while sailings from East Cowes at 2.30pm, 5.30pm and 8.30pm will also not run.
In a statement, Red Funnel apologised for the inconvenience and said passengers booked on these sailings could be accommodated on earlier or later sailing times available during the day.
All affected customers will be contacted, although customers can call 0844 844 9988.
The Red Jet hi-speed service is running normally.
