CHIMNEY ALERT FOR FIREFIGHTERS

RYDE fire crews went to a property at Quarr Hill, Binstead, yesterday (Tuesday) evening after reports of a chimney fire.
However, by the time they arrived, at 6.45pm, the fire was already out.
