Isle of Wight: Suspect drugs package
Suspected drugs package found in post

A PACKAGE believed to contain drugs was discovered at an Island postal depot.
The package had been sent from the Peterborough area and partially opened during transit.
Suspicious workers at the Royal Mail depot in Newport thought the package smelled of cannabis and reported it to police at around 8am last Wednesday.
The package was taken for forensic examination.
Three people have been arrested, a police spokesman said.
A 31-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, both from Newport, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply cannabis.
A 31-year-old man from Newport was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class C drug.
