IT was a squeaky Good Friday for rare breed pig owners David Groves and Sharon Peach, when a litter of ten piglets was born.
The couple, of Watchingwell Station, Calbourne, have been kept busy by the British saddleback piglets since they were born. It is the first litter for proud mum Sammy.
“They are so cute, they run around like crazy, they are just so lovely and sweet,” said Ms Peach. “But we only plan to keep one or two for breeding on. We want to continue these rare breeds and perpetuate them.”
