A COUPLE who met by chance at a bus stop, Noel Peter Burrow and Marjorie Ann Souter, were married at St Peter’s Church, Shorwell.
The bridegroom, a civil engineer, is the son of Mrs Sylvia Burrow, of Fine Lane, Shorwell.
The bride is a caretaker at Shorwell Youth Centre and the couple live in Fine Lane, Shorwell.
The bride wore a silk gown embroidered with gold and silver crystals with a headress of sea pearls and silver flowers and carried a bouquet of roses with rosemary and lavender.
Best man was Stephen Burrow (bridegroom’s brother).
The Rev Laura Humphrys officiated.
A reception at Northcourt Manor, Shorwell, was followed by a honeymoon at Arreton Manor.
