THE oldest Austin A4 on the Island transported Charlotte Ann Holt to St Mary the Virgin Church, Brighstone, when she married Ross Michael Elliott.
The bridegroom, a musician, is the son of Mr and Mrs Michael Elliott, of Bellecroft Drive, Staplers Road, Newport.
The bride, a shop assistant, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Paul Holt, of Main Road, Newbridge.
The bride wore an ivory strapless dress with diamante trim, an ivory lace shrug and diamante tiara. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses, ranunculus and blue eryngium.
She was attended by Stevie Elliott (bridegroom’s niece), Maia Moore, Tia Cole and Maple Holt (bride’s niece). Stevie wore a cornflower blue silk dress while Maia, Tia and Maple wore ivory organza dresses with cornflower blue sashes.
Best man was Jon Howard, with Justin and Nathan Holt (bride’s brothers), Wesley Boddy (bridegroom’s nephew) and Samuel Elliott (bridegroom’s son) as ushers.
The Rev Laura Humphrys officiated.
A reception at The Countryman pub, will be followed by a honeymoon in Scotland.
