Faithfull Clear wedding
A COUPLE who met at the IW scooter rally, Vincent Faithfull and Tammie Clear, were married at Lagos Beach in Portugal.
The bridegroom, a company director, is the son of Mr and Mrs John Rivers Faithfull, of Bruce Road, Southsea.
The bride, a beauty salon owner, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Bryan Clear, of High Park Road, Ryde. The bride wore an ivory-backed, full-length evening dress with criss-cross detail at the front and slight beading over the shoulders, with chiffon at the back attached with diamante clusters.
She carried a tropical-looking bouquet with birds of paradise and made up of orchids, orange lillies and green foliage.
She was attended by Tara Louise Clarke (bride’s niece), who wore a green two-tone full-length dress with shoulder straps and beading detail to the front.
She also had a smaller tropical bouquet.
The ring bearer was Charlie Faithfull (bridegroom’s son), who wore beige summer trousers and a white and beige shirt and tie.
The Rev Jackie Neville officiated at the ceremony, which also had 43 guests from England to celebrate the event.
A reception was held at the Duna Beach Club in Lagos.
The couple will be honeymooning at the Monchique Mountains and then on to Lisbon.
