A COUPLE who met in a nightclub, Steven Craig Faulkner and Nicola Catherine Calvert, were married at St John’s Church, Sandown.
The bridegroom, a prison officer, is the son of Mr and Mrs David Faulkner, of Dorcas Close, Nuneaton, Warwickshire. The bride, a nursery nurse, is the daughter of Mrs Trudy Calvert, of Joseph’s Way, Shanklin, and the late Mr Barry Calvert.
The bride wore a strapless, crystal-encrusted gown with lace overlay. She also wore a pearl and crystal head-dress and carried a bouquet of white roses.
She was attended by bridesmaids Donna Edkins, Melissa Calvert (bride’s daughter), Megan Price (bride’s niece), Lisa Calvert (bride’s sister) and Emma Blake.
Barry Heal and Craig Tyler jointly acted as best man. Ian Gill and Alistair and Barry Calvert acted as ushers.
The Rev Chris Feak officiated.
A reception was held at The Riviera Hotel, Totland.
