Ferreira Hoy wedding
A COUPLE who met while working at Landguard Holiday Park, Shanklin, Ricardo Ferreira and Emma Hoy, were married on Falesia Beach, Albufeira, in the Algarve, Portugal.
The bridegroom, a bar business owner with his new wife, is the son of Mr and Mrs Antonio Ferreira, of Albufeira. The bride is the daughter of Mr Martin Hoy, of Carter Road, Sandown, and Ms Jan Hoy, of Landguard Road, Shanklin.
The bride wore an ivory silk two-piece dress with bodice encrusted with pearls and diamonds, a long train edged with white lace and a tiara securing a veil.
She carried a bouquet of white and cream lilies.
She was attended by Liz Gibbard (bride’s sister), Amber Spicer and Jo Blakey, who wore a full-length dress in shades of blue and carried bouquets of coloured lilies.
Miguel Ferreira was best man.
A reception was held at the couple’s new bar and restaurant venture in the Algarve, where they have set up home.
