Ranson Davies wedding
A HARPIST played at the wedding of Gary Ranson and Suzanne Bethan Davies at East Dene, Bonchurch, and an opera singer entertained at the reception.
The bridegroom, a train driver with South West Trains, is the son of Mr and Mrs Colin Ranson, of Daniel Street, Ryde. The bride, a debt advice caseworker at the IW Law Centre, is the daughter of Mr David Cook, of Cardiff, and Ms Elizabeth Davies, of Chale Street, Chale.
The bride wore an ivory taffeta halter-neck backless gown with fishtail, bustle and crystal detail. She also wore a veil, decorated with drop pearls and crystals, and a crystal tiara.
She carried a teardrop flurry of philaenopsis orchids intertwined with gold vine leaves and twigs.
She was attended by Kirsty Badger, who wore a chocolate brown and ivory satin basque and skirt with sash and stole, and carried a bouquet to match the bride’s.
Rob Tulley was best man.
The couple honeymooned in Jersey, and will live in Ryde.
