ANOTHER two medals have been added to the Island tally today (Tuesday), with the prospect of more to come.
Against expectations, the table tennis squad of Roger Hookey, Alex Rorke, Julie Thorn and Karen King walked off with a bronze medal, despite a 5-2 defeat against Guernsey this morning.
A few hours later, the IW was celebrating again after another bronze was collected by the shooting team in the 50m prone pairs team event.
England international Richard Wilson and William Wyatt-Millington were just one point short of the silver medal but their score of 1139 was good enough for the bronze.

ATHLETICS
IW hammer champion Andy Frost was thrust into the 4 by 100m relay heats today (Tuesday) on the anchor leg after timetable concerns led to a shortage of sprinters.
"Matt Barton and James Groocock were needed for the triple and long jump respectively, which takes place after the relay, so it was decided not to risk them," said Nick Groocock, athletics manager.
"Andy did not hesitate to help out because it is good training for his speed work."
Unfortunately, although he gave his all, it was not enough as the Island squad trailed in eighth.
