THE UK’s first-ever Kiteboarding Park Jam at Bembridge failed to get off the ground because of a lack of wind.
Conditions were good throughout the week leading up to the weekend of fun competition, but the summer-like weather which bathed the Island did not suit the extreme sports fans.
Nevertheless, the competitiors tried to make the most of the light breeze by performing a few tricks on the specially-constructed ramps and rails, which floated on the calm waters.
