with cultural organisations.

Working in partnership with Age UK, Southern Housing
Group, local museums and libraries, Time & Tide will
provide new opportunities for older people to attend
creative workshops, curate pop-up exhibitions and take
part in cultural site visits, enabling them to experience and
participate in high-quality arts and heritage activities.

Independent Arts is also showcasing the work of their
projects SingAbout, DanceMakers and Creative Cafe during
the Celebrating Age week.

Jessica Paine, project manager at Independent Arts, said:
“We are delighted to launch the first workshops for Time &
Tide, which positively celebrates the IW’s ageing community,
and the Island’s natural and cultural heritage.

“The Celebrating Age Festival gives the charity a super
opportunity to showcase a number of the projects that are
available to older people, and hopefully encourage a few
new faces along. We are thrilled to be able to offer a range of
workshops for older people including singing, dancing and
visual art.”
