|Technical Support/IT Systems Engineer (EPoS)|
Salary DOE Plus Company Performance Based Bonus, Vehicle, Mobile Phone, Laptop
Monday to Friday with a need to be added to a 7 days a week shift rota.
Are you a technical support professional with an understanding of networking and servers?
As a Technical Support/IT Systems Engineer, you will support the existing customer base, develop relationships with customers and deploy projects.
You will also solve technical issues in a timely fashion and provide a friendly, helpful service to clients.
Our team is based at our Newport Offices. We supply, Install and Support EPoS Systems and Software for Island businesses both large and small (from superstores to sweetshops), over 95% of our customers are based on the Island although some mainland work may be required.
To be considered for this role you must have:
• Valid driving licence
• Experience in using Windows Servers and Networking
Working as part of a small and growing technical team, you will deal with leading technologies such as virtual desktop and server, wireless networks, firewalls and Windows servers. As part of your role you will visit customer sites in order to assess requirements, undertake software implementation and tackle issues.
Knowledge of virtualisation, Terminal Services/RDP and Group Policy would be beneficial to your application.
