A FREE warm-up event to this year's popular Kashmir Cafe is being held tomorrow (Saturday 7) at Quay Arts.

Each year, Quay Arts hosts the popular cafe at the Isle of Wight Festival, serving up the best in Real Ales as well as a continuous selection of the Island's best music.

And every year, the venue hosts a free warm-up event called Kashmir Fringe.

This year's event gets underway at 6.30pm with 12 acts performing across three rooms.

And with 2018 being the Year of The Woman, organisers said this year's event would showcase the amazingly rich array of female musical talent here on the Island.

From funky to punky, folk to funny, it promises to be a wonderful celebration of female songstresses, drummers and strummers.

The full line-up includes Curxes, BRUCH, Nakamarra, Holly Kirby, Triami, Badow, Jeph, Annabelle Spencer, Ventnor Darlings, Flo Bradbury, Tink and Cara.
