THE Dolomites, a five-piece 50/60s rock 'n' roll band, will be playing six gigs on their Island return this weekend.

The group toured here last year as the Toledos and have added lead singer Daisy Dolomite to their line-up.

Dolomite is also the stage surname of the rest of the group members, Dee, Danny, Declan and Django to give the appearance that they are a family.

Their sound epitomises a bygone era of cool, with Daisy in a 50’s halter neck frock and the guys in sharp suits and skinny ties.

The playlist includes original 1950’s raucous rock 'n' roll through to rousing 1960’s Beat Girl classics.
