A CHANCE to see one of the foremost pianists of our time is available to islanders on Saturday, March 10 at 7pm.

The West Wight Arts Association is hosting Peter Donohoe at Memorial Hall in Freshwater, where he will perform a selection of pieces including Mozart's Piano Sonata no 14 in C Minor.

Donohoe has over forty years of experience playing piano concerto with some of the most prestigious orchestras and conductors in the world, as well as competing in and winning a silver medal at the 1982 International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow.

He will play Mozart’s Piano Sonata no 14 in C minor K457, Schumann’s Fantasy in C major op 17, Stravinsky’s Serenade in A and Prokofiev’s Piano Sonata no 8.
