MAKE sure you tune in to BBC Radio 4 this evening (Tuesday) to catch Mark Steel's riotously funny take on Ventnor.
The comedian visited the Isle of Wight in September to see the sights, meet the locals and record a stand-up show at Ventnor Winter Gardens for his award-winning radio series, Mark Steel's in Town.
From dinosaurs and red squirrels to the fever dream weirdness of Blackgang Chine and the joys of the County Press letters' page, not to mention Ventnor's obsession with its microclimate, there was little that escaped Mark's keen observational eye.
The programme will be broadcast at 6.30pm this evening, and will then be available on BBC iPlayer.
