ISLE of Wight ferry passengers have been hit by delays and cancellations today (Monday).
The Red Funnel car ferry service between East Cowes and Southampton has seen long delays due to a technical issue.
Mechanical problems on the Wightlink catamaran service to Portsmouth have caused cancellations this morning, including the 9.10am sailing from Ryde.
The company has also been running a revised timetable on the Fishbourne to Portsmouth route, and has cancelled some sailings due to staff shortages.
* Red Funnel has advised passengers of the following changes due to the Red Eagle being withdrawn from service: 
Southampton <> East Cowes, vehicle ferry 
Southampton <> East Cowes at 14:00 will depart at 17:00
East Cowes <> Southampton at 14:30 will depart at 17:30
Southampton <> East Cowes at 15:00 will depart at 19:15
East Cowes <> Southampton at 15:30 will depart at 18:30 
Southampton <> East Cowes at 16:00 will depart at 21:00
East Cowes <> Southampton at 16:30 will depart at 21:00
Southampton <> East Cowes at 17:00 will depart at 22:30
East Cowes <> Southampton at 17:30 will depart at 22:30             
Passengers have been advised to arrive no earlier than one hour before their new departure time.
