TWO people have been taken to hospital following a potential carbon monoxide leak in Brading.

The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service was called to Wrax Road at 11am this morning (Monday) after a carbon monoxide alarm was triggered. 

One fire engine from Ryde arrived at the scene and requested an ambulance for two people at 11.30am.

They were taken to St Mary's Hospital.

Firefighters believe a faulty boiler was to blame. 

The scene was cleared by 12.15pm.
