A ROAD in Brading has been closed after two people were taken to hospital following a carbon monoxide incident yesterday (Monday).
Both the fire and ambulance services were called to the scene yesterday morning after a carbon monoxide alarm was triggered due to a faulty boiler.
Wrax Road has now been closed between its junctions to The Mall and New Road.
Island Roads said this is due to an emergency gas escape.
