Police called to accident in Long Lane, Newport
A WOMAN was taken to hospital after her vehicle was involved in an accident at Long Lane, Newport this afternoon.
The accident took place at around 4.53pm at the top of Long Lane near to Robin Hill.
Police and firefighters were called but the woman managed to get out of her vehicle by herself.
She was taken to St Mary's Hospital by her husband in another vehicle, according to a spokesman for the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service.
