Fire service called to car fire in Sandown.
THE ISLE of Wight Fire and Rescue Service was called to a car fire in Sandown this evening (Wednesday).
One crew from Sandown attended the scene at Fort Mews after receiving the call at 5.39pm.
An electrical fire in the engine bay of the vehicle was extinguished and the fire service had left the area by 6.30pm.
No injuries have been reported.
