A PLASTIC free Island, Russian political prisoners and cultural investment were the topics of MP Bob Seely's weekly vlog.

The Isle of Wight MP met this week with the Isle of Wight Women's Institute to talk about how to reduce plastics on the Island.

He said: "I want the Isle of Wight to become a leader in recycling, which it should do in the next few years due to our excellent new waste contract.

"But also, do more in becoming a plastic free Island."

He met with the culture minister to discuss more jobs and investment on the Isle of Wight. Matt Hancock has agreed to write a letter to a number of museums asking for more interaction with the Island.

Mr Seely also met with 'Russia's most famous political prisoner', Mikhail Khodorkovsky.
