The footpath is closed.
A NEWPORT footpath has been closed due to wear and tear following a busy Isle of Wight Festival.
Footpath N120 that goes along the River Medina has been closed to prevent further damage to the road and danger to the public.
It has been closed from the junction with Seaclose to the junction with Island Harbour for 2081 meters.
It will be closed while the footpath is repaired, for up to 21 days.
