MORE than 15,000 revellers crammed into Ryde today (Saturday) to watch the second Pride parade to take place on the Isle of Wight.

The hugely successful event saw many people dressed in colourful costumes take to the streets of the town cheered on by crowds of locals and visitors.

The parade featured organisations from across the Island and from the United Kingdom and beyond, culminating in a show which is taking place on the beach this evening.

Among the people taking part in the parade were members of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary and scouts.
