JIGSAW puzzle enthusiasts have been busy once again, piecing together the many exhibits on display at the annual Jigsaw Puzzle Festival at St James' Church in East Cowes.

Hundreds of puzzles were on display and available for sale, each one donated to the festival by the dedicated team of enthusiasts who put together the many puzzles for display.

The plethora of jigsaw puzzles were on display in the church for the week long festival, now in its 24th year.

The festival began in 1995, when the then rector, the Rev Stuart Cleaver, came up with the idea of displaying his private collection of jigsaw puzzles.

It was met with such enthusiasm it has continued ever since.

Since its humble beginnings, the festival has grown considerably.

The festival is so popular, the hundreds of puzzles on display at any one time are only a fraction of the total collection.

The festival ends tomorrow (Saturday), at 4pm.
