TWO people have been taken to hospital after a serious accident took place near Rookley today.

Highwood Lane at the junction of Blackwater Hollow has been closed and a diversion is in place.

Southern Vectis is also reporting that the Route Three service was affected due to the accident.

Police, fire and ambulance services were called to the scene following the accident which involved two vehicles and took place at 12.17pm
