A RUSTING hotplate abandoned at an Isle of Wight beauty spot has finally been cleared away.
The industrial hotplate has now been collected by Stag Lane Motors after it was left at Whale Chine for several months.
The Isle of Wight Council's waste provider, Amey, has collected the hotplate and disposed of it for free.
A spokesperson said: "We are investigating this incident of fly tipping and will take the appropriate action once we've establish more details."
