FIREFIGHTERS from Cowes are tackling a mobility scooter on fire at the Recreational Ground at Cowes this evening (Saturday).

One fire engine from Cowes is at the scene just off Park Road after receiving the call at 7.30pm.

A spokesperson from the Fire and Rescue Service confirmed it was a small fire.
