FIREFIGHTERS from Newport were called to an oven fire in Arreton this afternoon (Sunday).
One officer and two engines from Newport attended the scene at Arreton Street after receiving the call at 12.11pm.
A spokesperson from the Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that the oven fire had been extinguished by 12.36pm and Police were on scene for traffic control purposes.
