BEMBRIDGE RNLI were called to a 38 foot sailing yacht in trouble in the early hours of this morning (Monday).
The boat was launched at 1.25am at the request of the UK Coastguard to assist 'X-Dream', and its three Dutch crew.
The yacht had a fouled prop after rope had become caught in the propeller, 2nm north of the lifeboat station.
The rescue boat reached the crew at 1.35am and as the rope had already been cut, the yacht was towed to Haslar Marina.
