May 1, 2001 13:00: A JAPANESE businessman has been charged with the rape and murder of bar hostess Lucie Blackman.
The 21-year-old's mutilated body was found buried in a cave on a Japanese beach in February. Miss Blackman, of Sevenoaks, Kent, had been working in a bar in Tokyo when she went missing after going for a drive with a man, on July 1, last year.
Joji Obara, 48, has already been arrested on five other charges of rape, and another charge of murder.
