AN ELDERLY man has been taken to hospital following an accident this evening (Tuesday) in Lake.
The man in his 70s is believed to have been knocked off of his mobility scooter in the accident which took place
on the Newport Road between Broadlea Primary School and The Stag public house at around 7.10pm.
The man suffered a head injury and was taken to St Mary's Hospital, Newport.
