AVERAGE house prices on the Isle of Wight have increased by nearly £9,000, a report has revealed.
The government's UK House Price Index for England, released today (Tuesday), showed that houses on the Island worth £199,969 in August last year are now worth
£208,755, as of August 2017.
This is an increase of £8,786 - equivalent to a 4.4 per cent rise.
Average house prices in England have increased by 5.3 per cent over the last year.
