AN ANIMAL charity on the Isle of Wight has appealed for help to meet the medical bills of a badly injured kitten, left in need of skin grafts, after it was hit by a car.
The Isle of Wight Cats Protection Adoption Centre in Ryde said: "This little kitten was hit by a car last week and left with devastating injuries.
"The impact of the collision left her legs de-gloved and her skin torn away and she will need skin grafts in the up-coming weeks.
"We really hope her legs can be saved.
"As you can imagine her medical bills are going to be very high but we have to give this little baby the best chance of recovery. She is currently under the care of Pet Doctors who are doing all they can.
"We are trying to raise funds so please if you can head to our Just Giving page...
"Every little helps."
A fundraising jumble sale in aid of the charity is due to be held at the Cats Protection Centre in Marlborough Road, Ryde, from noon tomorrow (Saturday).
