THE Island's premier supplier of all things dumpling is asking for your help, having launched a crowdfunding campaign yesterday (Friday) evening.
Dumpling Dumpling, set up by husband and wife team Dan and Natalie Stirrup in 2015, offers dumplings filled with anything from summer fruit crumble to pulled pork.
Having enjoyed a recent three month spot at the WestQuay's dining extension, Watermark, they're now seeking vital investment to secure a future for the business.
Natalie said: "We are launching our first ever crowdfunding campaign (#DreamDumpling) to achieve our dumpling dream of spreading the dumpling love to as many people as we can, both on the Isle of Wight and along the south coast of the UK this Summer.
"We are in need of a few essential tools to make this dream possible, including a commercial gas fryer, gazebo, essential ingredients, and some fancy advertising materials.
"It is now up to dumpling fans everywhere to join #DreamDumpling and pledge for some fantastic rewards in return."
But they're not after something for nothing, and are offering incentives to anyone who backs the campaign.
Backer rewards include recipe cards, invites to their Dumpling Dinner Do, and even catering for a private party of up to 50 people.
