THE general election hustings organised by the Isle of Wight County Press and IW Radio, will go ahead tomorrow (Thursday).
Campaigning in the general election has been suspended since Monday's bomb attack in Manchester.
Local campaigning however, is due to resume around the country tomorrow.
Isle of Wight candidates will go head to head at the public event, at Cowes Enterprise College.
"After careful consideration, and speaking to the candidates, we have decided to go ahead with the event to show that democracy can triumph," said Alan Marriott, Isle of Wight County Press editor.
You will be able to follow live coverage via the County Press website from 7pm.
Labour has also confirmed that its pre-arranged public meeting at Northwood House will go ahead tonight (Wednesday).
A minute's silence will be held and there will also be a collection for the Manchester Evening News’ fundraising appeal for affected families.
