A SINGER from the Isle of Wight will appear on Sky1's new show 'Sing: Ultimate A Cappella' next Friday.
With no backing tracks or bands, the groups competing need to impress the judges on their vocals alone.
Although not quite household names, the judges are big figures in the music world — from choral conductors to West End stars.
Lindsey Bonnick, 32, originally from Shanklin, will appear on the show with her vocal harmony trio, Timeless, next Friday, October 27 in episode four.
Lindsey grew up on the Island before leaving to pursue a singing career and now works full time as a singer.
The trio is made up of herself, Chloe Dixon, 26, and Lauren Potter, 26, now based in Portsmouth.
They spent time in July filming the show which is presented by Cat Deely, on her return to UK screens.
Lindsey said: “It was amazing — it was the best thing I have ever done in my singing career.
“Our families came along to watch us and it was incredible.
“We had these amazing outfits and it felt like they were just made for us.”
Over 30 groups are competing over the course of seven weeks to be crowned champions.
The winning group get the chance to record an album at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios and release a single in time for Christmas.
Sing: Ultimate A Cappella is on at 9pm on Fridays on Sky1.
