DETAILS of the passenger-only service that will run across the Medina at low tide have been released by the Isle of Wight Council.
The service has been brought in to carry passengers when the floating bridge is unable to operate.
The launch of the £3.2 million floating bridge has been blighted by problems.
It was originally hoped the vessel would launch in late 2016/early 2017.
Instead the launch was five months later, in May, and since then the vessel has had to be regularly withdrawn — including the day after its relaunch.
The Isle of Wight Council has said it will carry out a full investigation into the procurement and implementation of the floating bridge.
It has also suspended charges for the service until July.
The floating bridge will offer a full vehicle and passenger service at other times, as per the published timetable.
The passenger only service timetable is below and will operate during June 2017. Passenger service timetable

* Sunday 18 June: Service to cease at 22.00; ** Monday 19 June: Service to cease at 23.30
