YARMOUTH'S Wednesday Girls, who meet on a Thursday, are holding their annual Christmas Fair at the Community Hall of Yarmouth and District tomorrow (Saturday) between 10am and 12.30pm.
The group of friends have met each week since 2001 for a chat and a gossip and have raised thousands of pounds for charity while doing their craftwork.
Sue Renwick, who hosts their meetings, said: "We were amazed by how many come through the door, to support us."
There will be haberdashery, special gifts, cards and crackers on sale.
Sue added: "All of us are interested in crafts in one way or another, so, initially, we decided to put our various talents to good use by having sales in the town to raise funds for local charities. Over the years, we have raised around £24,000."
This year's money will benefit Break the Cycle, a charity which supports women who have had experience of abusive relationships, and the Community Hall of Yarmouth and District.
