PRINCESS Anne will visit the Isle of Wight during Cowes Week.
The Princess Royal will spend two days at the world famous sailing regatta, sponsored this year by peer-to-peer lending company Lendy, next Monday and Tuesday.
As President of Riding for the Disabled, she will also visit an affiliated organisation, Isle of Wight Carriage Driving for the Disabled, at Osborne House.
She will visit the offices of Cowes Week Limited, attend a reception at the Royal London Yacht Club, and dinner at the Royal Yacht Squadron.
During the second day, she will start the Triple Crown Yacht Race from the Royal Yacht Squadron battlements and visit youth sailing academy UKSA, of which she is patron.
The Isle of Wight's lord lieutenant, Maj Gen Martin White, said: "I am very pleased to welcome back to the Island HRH, particularly during Cowes Week when she will also have an opportunity to see other aspects of life in our community."
Isle of Wight Council chair, Cllr Lora Peacey-Wilcox, said: "We are delighted that HRH is visiting and continuing the Royal presence for Cowes Week."
