LENDY Cowes Week kicks off this weekend and there will be with more boats than you could shake a sextant at. 
Don't worry if you're more of a landlubber though, there's plenty of things on to keep you occupied. 
In Seaview it's the Party on the Prom tonight (Saturday) from 6pm until 11pm with live music and dancing. 
It's the Sandown Parade today (Saturday) with activities running all day with Magic Andy, Derek Sandy, and the Wight Bells Morris Dancers. See a map of the parade route here.  
Showcasing the best in Island musical talent, Pan Fest at Downside Field runs from 11am until 5pm today (Saturday). There's also lots to keep the kids entertained too, including a bouncy castle and climbing wall. 
If you've yet to catch Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, now is the perfect chance to watch this blockbuster in the unique setting of Carisbrooke Castle. The doors open at 7pm tonight (Saturday) with the film starting at 8.30pm. 
Tomorrow (Sunday) for one night only is Elvis impersonator Lee Memphis King at Shanklin Theatre from 7.30pm. 
Enjoy the finest Asian cuisine and entertainment at the Isle of Wight Asia Day. Hosted over at Newclose Cricket Ground from 11am until 8pm tomorrow (Sunday) there will also be traditional costumes, a beauty pageant and the all important licensed bar. 
Sunnyside Farm near Godshill will be playing host to a charity show tomorrow (Sunday) with classic cars, pony club games, a dog show and plenty more from 10am. 
At the Dimbola Lodge all this weekend and beyond is Kathakali and Carnival - two vibrant performance traditions from South India and the Caribbean. The exhibition is open everyday from 10am to 5pm.
