JUST five per cent of parents responded to the consultation over the future of James Dixon and Anerley primary schools.
Officers from Bromley Council's education department have picked over the "relatively low" response rate to plans to close Anerley and merge the two schools under the name James Dixon.
Speaking at an education committee meeting last week, Councillor Chris Gaster, who represents the area, said: "Not a single parent is here tonight, which says it all."
Comparing it to the massive response to the consultation over Dorset Road Infants, he said: "The logic of this proposal is unanswerable."
The plans will now go before the council's ruling cabinet to be agreed.
