A WOMAN has been injured following a single vehicle crash in Freshwater this afternoon (Saturday).
The accident happened just before 4pm at Pixley Hill at its junction with Hill Lane.
Firefighters from Newport including a rescue vehicle as well as another crew from Freshwater are attending the incident.
An ambulance has also been called to the scene. The woman was freed from her vehicle and taken to St Mary's Hospital.
She was not seriously injured according to ambulance staff.
