COWES RNLI Lifeboat towed a yacht to safety this evening (Monday) after it ran aground near to Bramble Bank.
The emergency call came in at 6.10pm.
Lifeboat volunteers were concerned that the strong tide and wind would push the yacht closer to the bank, so they requested the Coastguard’s assistance.
The yacht was pulled away from the bank and no one was injured.
